Debian machine if I do a search for it with Win95
(start/find/computer/name). And for now I've just placed a shortcut to
it on my desktop to keep from having to search every time.

Shouldn't I be able to have my /var be a mounted partition
on another machine?

I am trying to use ncpmount to mount subdirectories on a Novell
Netware server, but my current version of ncpfs only allows the
mounting of volumes - not subdirectories. I was wondering if
anyone knew if there was a newer version available that DOES allow
you to mount a specific subdirectory?
