Mounting SCSI Emulated CD-RW

Dear helpers, I compiled the 2.4.18 kernel using scsi emulation, scsi generic support and scsi CDROM support, iso9660 etc. I boot from the floppy and assume that , there is no need to pass any commands at the linux prompt at the boot time. =
