Hello,
I was wondering if anybody could recommend a scanner to work with Linux. I
would like one that would be used in a small office with medium load (may be
50-100 pages / day). Obviously I need one with an auto feeder.
thanks

with no avail. I even copied the Fontmap from a mandrake partition to

Hello John,
Although Debian is my favorite distribution for several years, and although
for me installation of debian is only a snap (me only), I would still

Hello,
I was wondering how to setup NFS behind a firewall. I am trying to
access my office linux box which is behind a DSL router from home
where I have a cable modem.
the issue is I need to know what ports I need to open on the office

I haven't used .forward file for a long time. if you use fetchmail and
procmail (of course I do) you can add this line to .fetchmailrc
mda "/usr/bin/procmail -d %s"
I hope this helps

I think the problem is with the $HOME , since the script is run as
root, $HOME is for /root not the user home directory.
try to give it the absolute directory and see. or try to make the
script owned by the user.
good luck
