back that I'm not a member of the list in question. Then why the am I
getting the digests?

it all works better and faster than my old Windows95 box. It appears at

This may not be an appropriate place to ask this, but does anyone know
the appropriate frequencies to use with Laptop TFT LCD monitors? I chose
the SVGA monitor in the XF86Setup program - and it works, but it only
gives me 320x200 resolution. I know this chipset (CL754x) and monitor
can do 800x600
with stable or do you need
unstable.
I guess another question is - how unstable is unstable? I do plan on
using linux in a production environment (i.e., I'm a user, not a
tinkerer... :) )

My thanks to everyone who helped me set up my laptop for a Debian
install...the PCMCIA drivers loaded perfectly, and in no time at all I
was connected to my ISP and finishing my install via ftp.
