Screendump of Setup Routine.

Hello, I would like to create screendumps of the Debian setup routine (dboostrap) which runs under bterm to be capable of extra fonts. IMO this runs on the framebuffer device. How can I do dumps, now? I thought about cat /dev/fb0 >screendump, but how can I convert these into images? Thanks A
