Gnome doesn't save brightness setting

Hi, I am using Debian wheezy on my lenovo t430 laptop. And each time I start my laptop, it starts in full brightness mode, and each time I have to reduce it. I am tired of doing this. Does anyone know any solution. Is this a known bug, or am I the only person experiencing it? Thanks, Amandeep
