Hmm my bios has a place to choose booting from scsi first instead of ide but even when I choose that there are no boot lineup (A,Cdrom,C; A,C; and such) choices that have 'scsi' in them... most of the directions I've seen where the one giving the directions used the 'boot from scsi' option

Yeah it's me again :) ok... got everything copied over to the new big disk on /dev/hde Next obstacle is there a way to use lilo to boot from /dev/hde when it's the only hard drive on the system without doing that ide=reverse line? I tried just setting the root to /dev/hde1 on a boot flop
