Finally i decided to install jessy debian testing and tested the problem
in testing where there is no reverting back and the remap stays ok
during the whole session.

I wonder if my first mistake was that i used:
#cp debian.iso /dev/sdb1
and not
#cp debian.iso /dev/sdb

I checked usb stick with fdisk -l and the fs type is: W95 FAT32
and i can see debian files in the contents of the stick.
I tested debian-7-6-0-amd64-xfce-CD-1.iso
debian-testing-amd64-netinst.iso

My vps provider informed (after me having trouble upgrading to wheezy)
