Hi everyone,
I installed Testing a couple of weeks ago. Everything went smoothly, except for
a couple of things.
My function keys to adjust the screen's brightness worked great, but when I
installed the nvidia drivers they went dead. What's worse, if I start X, I
cannot shut it down or go to a

Hello everyone.
I have a SanDisk cruzer mini.
The first weird thing is that the device is not the

Hi everyone..
Can someone tell me or point me in the right direction
of what I have to do in order to run a remote program
with graphics?. I have ssh access and everything, I
suppose it has something to do with the DISPLAY

Hello everyone,
I moved a couple of months ago from qwerty to dvorak.
And in my latest install dvorak is my default

reason when I type a shortcut like ctrl + shift + x

Hello everyone,
When I installed it I went for the Stable version, but
now I'm thinking of switching over either to Testing

Unstable distro is?.Cuz I heard that most of the time
you can work with it pretty well. The other thing is,

Hi everyone,
I'm still in 800x600 :-(... I've tried with a couple

Searching the web I found this:

But I haven't found anything else, so I don't know the

Hi,
I had already tried dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
with no results. Once, the only resolution I checked
was 1280x1024 and I had a nasty result, ending up with
a resolution below 800x600. I just tried changing the
driver to S3, but I couldn't even start X. That was in
kind of a hurry, so I'm
I forgot to say that I have an integrated Savage 8

current driver in XF86Config-4 is "savage". Should I
use a different one?...

Hello everyone,
I recently installed debian Sarge3.1_r0a, and have two
problems. The first one is that I'm unable to set the
screen resolution higher than 800x600 even though I
had it at 1280 x 1024 in Fedora Core. Could this be
some kind of driver issue??. Any ideas?.
My other problem is that m
