This is what I ended up doing. The version 25 was in currently use and I
rm'ed all the old version files.
That worked, but I needed to do the same when version 31 appeared.
Fortunately the new version will get into use so rm will work.

Hi all,
I tried to install Bullseye on my MacBookAir6,1 but the SSD is not detected:
ACPI: SSDT 0x8CD7E000 00010B (v01 APPLE SataAhci 1000
INTL 20100915)
libata version 3.00 loaded.
ahci :04:00.0: version 3.0
ahci :04:00.0: AHCI 0001. 32 slots 1 ports 6 Gbps 0x1 impl SATA
Another for the list,
Dell/WYSE Zx0 box, with AMD G-T56N cpu and 8gb flash drive.Used for offsite
playback of my home media via DWService and as a gateway to my home
network.Installation worked perfectly - no issues at all.
