Has anyone got Xoscope(1) on Debian 9 amd64 to work?
It looks as if it does not connect to the audio system, (alsa or
pulseaudio,) and there is no option for a device in /dev. There is no
trace on the display.
Any help would be appreciated,
John

I guess you'd need to read the tracks one by one, like
cdparanoia -d $drivespec "1-1" track_1.wav
cdparanoia -d $driv

Dear all,
My laptop has for the second time got stuck on boot, and a seemingly
random number of hard reboots has been necessary to get it running. This
obviously worries me. I'm running Debian Stretch with full disk
encryption and, after grub, this is what happens:

Hi,
so the problem CD is just a pure audio CD with no filesystem to mount.
Entertainment CD pliayers should have no problem with it. Operating systems

the futile mount attempts.
