I have not yet upgraded my system from 6.0.7 to 7.0 because I like to
wait a couple of months before going to a new major version number on an
OS upgrade. This is to allow for the initial bug shake-out phase which
pretty much always happens. :-)

There is a lot of information out there, and it can be a bit confusing
to start off. It is certainly possible to set up a multi boot system,
however your Windows 7 system has probably claimed all of your hard
disk. The debian installer will take care of this, but please read the
