nmap -sS -sU -T4 -A -v -PE newserver
and get that few port with number 4 and higher are open|filtered.

system. Lenny's udev needs
CONFIG_DEPRECATED_SYSFS
CONFIG_DEPRECATED_SYSFS_V2
enabled and the most actual stable kernel package has this enabled
