I want to install on an old Toshiba laptop the Debian GNU/Linux Etch
from a netinstall CD.
At point 'Configure the network' I should set up the Domain name but
I forged domain name related to that LAN.
I have access to the firewall/router. Where to search the domain name
on it?

it is a strange issue that i am unable to resolve.
I just setup virtual isp email domains on my server and i keep going
to the spam bucket everytime i send to yahoo and google.

I have a working installation of linux that was running LVM but when I
restored from backup I changed to regular partitions and UUID.
The LVM info still shows up if you do a pvdisplay or vgdisplay etc.
even though it's not actually there anymore.

First attempt failed because mysql is a requirement but it is not in the
dependencies.
Starting again from scratch, installing mysql, an then trying to install
