Just got it and it solved the problem. After putting in new kernel I had
to remove the "/etc/udev/rules.d/z25_persistent-net.rules" file and it
started working just fine.

After an upgrade to iceweasel 3 (i'm running sid), iceweasel crashed
like every a few minutes and it's just unusable. I managed to run
