I was forced to use the 'install24' option with the Debian testing CD,
since the 2.6 kernel wouldn't detect my CD-Rom drive.
After booting, I installed the 2.6.15 kernel image, and restarted.
The difference between the two seems to be that in 2.6, my drive(s)
are detected as sd*, while 2.4 is hd
Yesterday the computer suddenly freezed, No response from keyboard, that
is, I could not switch to tty and shutdown / reboot from there.
I did it the hard, turning of the power. Tried to reboot, but no succes.
I have now booted up with knoppix, and would like to have access to the
harddrive. How

I'm runnning a mail server on debian sarge, postfix 2.1.5-9, mailscanner
4.41.3-2, spamassassin 3.0.3-2 and clamav volatile.
The load is about 5000 mails a day.
This has been working perfectly for months until this week when
mailscanner has stopped scanning mails on a couple of occasions.

is there any way to switch between fullscreen and window mode in games
that use SDL, like Quake4 and X2 (X2 demo for now)?
There must be some way because when windows pop up while playing in
full screen, the X2 demo is switched to a window and back. Quake4 has
