Hi, for some reason ifup has stopped working on startup of my debian
system. Once its started up I can log in as root and ifup and
everything works fine, it just won't work on boot.
I've looked at /etc/init.d/networking and things look o.k. (although

The thing is that I have an external hard drive and it takes forever to

You need to mount the ISO on the loopback interface and find the boot
image and write it to floppy.
Having done that you need to boot up and go through the boot process
without destroying your image and keeping it in a place which you will
be able to read it from.

movie file. Apparently spumux does not recognize the subtitle images in the
