Hi all,
I came across something odd this morning on a Sarge production server I
manage remotely. The machine runs a self-compiled 2.6.12.2 kernel and I
keep it up to date with security fixes. (I run upgrades and
dist-upgrades when I get email from debian-security-announce).

Hi,
Does anyone know of any image viewers packaged in debian which have the

Hi,
after I've updated Debian Sarge to Debian Unstable, some gui-application
like gedit, kwrite, kedit, konqueror take to many time (more than 10
minutes) to start. Has somebody maybe an idea to fix this problem?

I'm trying to set up apache2 to use ssl. I see numerous bugs about
this, including the fact that the setup is neither automated nor documented
(267477 -- which includes some recipes and references to help) and
that a tool, ssl-cert, used at one point by apache2 for debconf, has
problems (230485).
The README file that came with Debian doesn't cover the difference
between the httpd.conf file and the apache2.conf file. Is the
httpd.conf file basically obsolete? Should I just put all directives
and containers in apache2.conf file? Does it matter?
