Hi!
I recently moved from Debian stable to testing doing a new install.
I have installed some additional type 1 fonts which I use to produce
(via latex and dvips) ps files which I then would print on a ps
printer.
Under woody this all worked fine, but now the last step fails: I can
produce ps fi

I tried this suggestion. I got a message that the fs already had a journal,
so none was needed.

Hi, I'm an italian brand new Debian user.
I've installed the latest TESTING version and I've found some problems:
MY VGA CARD wasn't found;
MY SOUND BLASTER wasn't found.
I've a PCI EXPRESS vga card (SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON X700 PRO 256MB) and
AUDIGY 2 ZS PLATINUM PRO audio card.

I've got a server that's running great, but it's on an old AMD 300MHz
machine and I'd like to transition to an entirely new system (with
different SCSI etc.). What's the best way to go about copying? I've
heard I can repopulate /usr/bin with some apt-based method so I don't need
to back all that
Thanks. That seems to be the general consensus.

Thanks. Can I tool around trying to learn X with the 64M configuration or
is that going to be too painful?

In my case I had to move /etc/rcS.d/S04mdadm-raid further down on the list
somewhere between modules and mount. S04 was to early. But my RAID5 doesn't
have any systems files.

By switching to another vt and running ps, I see just ssh-agent and
gamin still alive for logging-out user, but they quit soon and a
single X process remains running (owned by root).
Even alone, X does not exit by its own, I need ask it by
pressing CTRL-ALT-Backspace.
What's worked for me, it's
Anyone know when krita will make it into debian (powerpc, specifically)?
Googling brings up mentions of krita binaries back in 2003, in debian-devel,
but that seems to have got waylaid.
I'd really like to give up GIMP soon :)
