Before scrapping two Actiontec Wireless USB Adapters I thought one more

You've got the right idea. Set the user's shell to /bin/false -
technically, he can still log in, but his shell will then immediately

While configuring the mail server I realized I have to create users but
just let them check their mail via pop3, but nothing else, no telnet, no
ssh, etc...
I thought making the user and give him/her a special shell, but can't
find it.
Any Ideas?

Is it someone to help me with gotmail. I put the file.gotmailrc in my home
directory with this configuration:
