I am running testing and when I switch over to TTY1 (or any virtual
console for that matter) from X, X nearly always crashes and restarts
gdm. Has anyone had this happen to them and does anyone know how to keep

I have written a script perl(not very perlich ;-)) which install
n accounts but I have encountered few problems:
1 "useradd" works fine except for the password (not encrypted)
2 "mkpasswd" look nice but /etc/shadow doesn't like it's encrypted passwords ?
3 "makepasswd" create passwords

I have installed Webmin through the tar ball and haven't had any problems. But
with a new server, which I installed woody, I used apt to install it. But,
although I look in dselect and the modules are added, they don't show up in
webmin.
