hi. after recompiling 2.4.10, my boot process is fine until the end
where i get an error: "/dev/hdd2 was not cleanly unmounted,
check forced" and fsck goes and does its business for a couple
of minutes. i find this annoying, as i DO cleanly unmount before i

cups? I'm using the gimp-print driver and have it set to 360DPI, which

(General Purpose Mouse interfaces) It doesn't always play nicely with X.

i am usen woody and had upgraded x to 4.1.0-6pre7v3. after that x didn't
work.
i edited /etc/X11/Xsessin.d/99xfree86-common_start for the " problem.
now only x is starting but kde don't.
i have only the cursor and the standard x background .
any ideas?

I have a new PC, with P IV on a Intel 850 chip set

I run Xfree 4.1.0.1-3 and kernel 2.4.10ac12.
