First guess: a broken font.

Hi,
I recently updated to testing and a self-compiled kernel 2.4.3 and
things work great, except for java. Basically any java application
segfaults on startup. I'm using (well, er, was using :) Sun's jdk 1.3.1.
Am I missing something? Apologies if this is a faq, but I couldn't find
an up-to-date

Hy.
Yes, it is quite easy:
Download the flash-tool (search under:
www.unicore.com, I think:
http://www.unicore.com/forms/leads/bios_upgradeform3.cfm)
and the newest patch for your BIOS (should be easy ;-) )
Then just execute the flash utility like it is described in a readme or on the
homepage.

Anybody out there using Cyrus and sasl authentication with potato?
I've read some documentation, but seems that the version of Cyrus in
potato is way older than the version mentioned in the Cyrus-HowTo (and
the same is for the version in sid). If this could not be feasible,
would be very glad if s

I had a system crash recently, and I took a good look at my own syslog
messages and /proc/mdstat. And my own entries look very different from
yours.
My question is: did you recompile and install the patched kernel?
I suspect that you didn't, and you're trying to use the new-style raid
tools on a
Hy guys...

Hi,
I own a IBM DTLA 304050 (41.1 Gb) and i have the same problem using it on my
Abit LX6 mainboard.
To solve it i installed a second hdd (old 1 gb seagate) as hda (told bios

connected as hdb. Linux boots using the 1 Gb drive an
