Quick question . . .
Maybe I don't understand the package pools yet but I noticed today
that when searching for for the package kernel-source-2.2.18 on www.debian.org,
the only thing that the site returns (for either stable, testing, or
unstable) is the pre-release package:
kernel-source-2
I'm looking for a doc on how to write .forward files. I've searched
sendmail.org, all the documentation that comes with sendmail, and the LDP. If
anyone could help I'd be most greatful.
Could you also cc your replys to me as I'm not subscribed.
Thank you,

Minor nit, but drw-r-Sr-- is actually the set*gid* bit; setuid would be
drwSr--r--.

Hello all
I am having trouble getting my linux to recognise my pci internal modem. I
am new to the Intel platform but have succesfully managed to install potato
on my m68k mac and connect using ppp albeit with an external modem.
I have searched the archives and was not able to find any pointers

I recently had ADSL service installed, and I have had some strange problems
with it connecting to certain WWW sites. For example: http://tempo.gsu.edu,
http://www.mbnanetaccess.com, http://www.aol.com, http://http.us.debian.org(!).
Sending email has also stopped working.

You don't need the esound daemon to use Xmms. It's intelligent enough
to use sound drivers from various sources. As an example, I can use

Hi,
You can try either to remove the package using 'dpkg -r gsfonts-

a' and try to manually install gsfonts-x11 since apt will look for the
latest version, and it seems like the package which comes with
woody isn't compatible
