I have a CVS server and would like to get mail notification on commit going.
However all the users of CVS are not local users. CVS insists on trying to
mail locally anyway. I have created a file:

bar:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
but it just mails foo and bar on the local mach

I've got following problem: when I try to launch kde it fails
complaining about missing libraries. I've installed kde using .debs from
ftp.kde.org and qt 1.41 from a .deb from ftp.funet.fi (a mirror of
ftp.debian.org). Any kde users here who could illuminate the
situation?

I can right click my mouse and get the pulldown 'Root Menu' that shows
all the installed stuffs I have put.
later on, I added a xemacs package(using dselect instead of dpkg)and
under the pulldown menu:
Root Menu-Debian-Apps-Editors It does not show up!
I can't seem to do anything without running to you guys! You already
helped me through two problems (both my fault, of course), and here I am
again!

I have HAMM installed and I have used Tim Norman's PPA utility on an old
slackware system, but currently I am having trouble (no output) on the

You could add a line into lilo.conf
default = winlabel
Then save it, run
lilo /etc/lilo.conf and reboot.
This should take care of a problem.

I can't get my DEL key working properly in Xemacs. I want it to always

Default terminal setting is xterm-debian which is non present
on our Sun Ultra server at university. When I telnet on it, I
set TERM to xterm and try to stty erase .

trouble with the floppy drive during the installation. (It does fine until
time to install the drivers, and then all I get "/dev/fd0: Device not
configured").
When I `mount -t (ext2|msdos|dos|*) /dev/fd0 /mnt`,
I get:
