He installed Debian 1.3.1r6. He has a computer with two IDE disks. One
is Windows (/dev/hdb), the other is Debian (/dev/hda). At installation

It is not for anonymous ftp uploads, that would be too easy. I need the
ftpd to set the mode automatically because most of my users are windows
users ... they have lots of problems with cgi scripts, etc because the
current default has group writable set to true.

You will have to recompile your kernel to support network aliasing.
This option is under the menu "Network Options". There is also a mini

I just had this same problem... You have to type something like Ramdisk0 at the
boot: prompt. Press F1 and see. When you do this it asks for the root disk
later. Look at the install.html file in the directory where you got the base

mailcap error causing netscape to bitch about incorrect syntax when trying
to execute rvplayer, my new ~/.mailcap is as so:
