I just loaded xemacs20 and tried to run it.
It fails before any window appears. There is no core dump; this is the
error output:

Depends on what you see as "correct" info. nfs is "stateless", i.e.,
when a client mounts something from the server, o

This easier interface is why I think Slackware is easier to install.

The dpkg man page doesn't mention --get-selections --set-selections
and possibly other options mentionned in `dpkg -h`

Hi,
I tried to compile some programs for X11 with:
gcc prog1.c -lX11
The compilation went O.K., then the linker complained that it couldn't find
X11 library.
I have installed almost every -dev package but I still think that the right
one is missing.
Can anyone tell me what should I install in
What package do people use to record .au audio files?

I think there is a utility to do this in linux but it may be alpha code.
Look around on sunsite for it. It think it would be in some directory named
filesystems.
Also there are some utilities that allow you to have read only access to NTFS
drive from DOS/Window
What's the magic incantation?
My machine finds the CD, gets to the " boot: " prompt. Then it reboots
(after each of my many guesses). I have sucessfully installed by booting
from floppy, but I'm still curious.
BTW I have an Intel Zappa board, and my CD is /dev/hdc.

I am afraid that we have to get organized about this - have maintainers
or power users "on duty" or something so that we are sure every message
gets handled.
