You should install lilo in the root-fs partition. Then it will be loaded if
there is a normal MBR and the partition is activated, or you can install the

Does toggling the bootable flag in fdisk take care of that?
I'd like to install lilo on my system and up to now I haven't used it, so
my hd is not bootable.

ftp.netscape.com in order for it to work because of Netscape's

master.debian.org hard drive is nearly full, and to make all three
trees (buzz, rex, bo) self-contained again would use up several

Hm. I am uploading a 2.0.25 boot disk this evening (probably late). That
might have a better Adaptec 28xx driver. The chip is detected just fine,
the microcode that we load into the chip appears to be buggy.

binary, execpt that it is expecting to see libc-4.7 and my debian system
