Yup. All the directories were owned by admin.qmail or something similar.
Removing and re-installing majordomo fixed all that.

You are not alone. clock has not worked for me at all with this
release. I had the same symptoms and I had do downgrade to 2.5-4.

server onto a set of Debian boxes... And we're having problems.
We got the amd maps set up correctly (I checked from another site which is
also using amd to automount home dirs). But when I start amd and try to cd
to a home dir
