Try these steps to reproduce:
Create a new KWord document.
Set the text center aligned
Press ctrl+backspace
Using host libthread_db library "/lib/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1".

Today I installed a from scratch etch Debian with all current packages for KDE.
After a brief time, KDE stopped accepting my root password for simple tasks
such as setting date and time from control center.
This bug also prevents runni
g data, which is good thing, but
something is wrong nonetheless.
