there have been updates of some dependencies (see table below) of the package
but installing them did not fix the problem.

while trying to fix random RC bugs, I stumbled over this one and tried
to
reproduce it in my local cowbuilder setup (you used sbuild).
This seems not to happen on buildds, as they use sbuilds internal
resolver.
cowbuilder uses aptitude to resolve Build-D
Yay for packages running a ton of tests and ignoring the results...

Okular can not open the attached file. This is a provate file, please
use only in order to debug the application.
In ored to open the file I (sigh) switched to Windows, I used Acroba

I have just installed okular on a stable/testing mixed system. At least
one symbol is not defined and makes okular crash.
BTW, I am not running KDE. Hence I guess my system has the very minimum
kde libraries installed in order to run

It opens fine here (fully up-to-date testing), 3 mostly white pages with
some lines of text each.
What is the problem you see?
Do you get any error dialog?
Can you please paste all the output you get
