Please update "umbrello" to version 1.5.71: with current version (1.5.7) there are too many crashes to make it usable! I hope the new version helps at least a bit seen that they fixed some common bugs. Moreover "kdesdk" in Debian testing is still using version 3.5.5 while the other KDE package
