I can comfirm the problem described by Florimond.
But I am using a different Kopete package:
4:3.5.4+kopete0.12.2-1
This package is not from an official Debian mirror. But I get exactly the same
behaviour. Maybe it is a bug in the upstream package from KDE.
Regards,
Benjamin

I'm wrong. It looks like we'll have to switch over to libdb4.4-dev, and
kdepim will need a rebuild against the new libpisock9. Thanks for the
tip.
Note to self: get more sleep.

Thank you for the followup, Florimond.
FWIW, I couldn't reproduce the bug. I would ask you to check
~/.kde/share/apps/kabc/ 's content, but I don't understand what my
kaddressbook is doing with std.vcf, std.vcf__0, std.vcs__1, etc.

As KDE now uses HAL callouts to do the actual mounting, the hal package has to
decide which mechanisms (pmount, mount or gnome-mount) it uses. The hal
package should have the corresponding Recommends.
