Title: Please help me
Hi
Can somebody answer me here how to find what is the problem, what prevents KDE to start screen saver etc... I see that since now only I have the issue, but if somebody knows a way how to check the time counter or the condition which makes the decision, then I can giv

I couldn't reproduce this problem with KDE upgraded to 3.5.2 (partial upgrade,
but at least konqueror was upgraded).
Please verify this and close the bug if appropriate (KDE bug was closed

separate bug report?

If you ssh into a system, run a kde app (such as kuser, say), and quit that
application and log out, the connection won't be released because arts is still
running.
This odd behavior has been around for a very long time now -- th
Easy workaround: ~. in terminal from where you started ssh.
This will make ssh to close connection immidiatly. Not a general solution
of course, but will fit in many practical cases.

#28 was fixed by making konqueror recommend ksvg. I don't see why it
would be unusual to use konqueror without ksvg, so I think the proposed
