there seems to be an error in kttsd-4:3.4.0-0ubuntu1. I cannot choose
the sound engine mbrola and as a result it is not possible to use kttsd
with German texts. I guess the package was compiled without support for
mbrola.

Actually, it sounds like libaspell15 doesn't export any C++ symbols, and so
didn't need to do a transition. It is likely going to undo the package
name change and go back to libaspell15.
