You are right. Thank you. It was already installed, though, and the
crash report tool complained nonetheless, listing dolphin for files for
which to find debug info for. Weird. I'll try reproducing it.

Hi,
finally i've taken some time to reproduce this bug in a Sid too.
(lo interface down and an active Internet connection)
So my conclusions are that this is not a bug, cause if KDE requires
the lo interface up, and upping lo the system works well, the problem
doesn't exist.
I hop
The reason is simple. QT's internal sqlite3 is version 3.2.7, while
DBD::SQLite is already 3.3, which uses a new, incompatible format.
Please close this bug report.
I wonder though if it would be possible for Debian's QT4 to use the system
sqlite3 library... That would be nice and clean, but I
Sorry, I just realized it's not a bug, it's a feature. When you mark a folder
with "ignore non-read" option, "next message" doesn't cycle through it, as it
was the case for earlier versions of kmail. The new behavior is more logical
and perhaps more intuitive
Closing this bug report, as the wrong behavior was caused be the sending
MUA, not kmail on the receiving and replying end.

x and kdm does so (on my
computers) and this behavior is described in the xdm man page.
I think, this is not a bug.
A simple work around to set the variable is to put
if [[ -z $XAUTHORITY ]]; then export XAUTHORITY=~/.Xauthority; fi;
in the $HOME/.bashrc file.
Best regards,
Olaf Märker.
