The bug was solved when updating the system about 1 month ago, sorry for
the delay of reporting this
I forgot to mention an important piece of information: this bug doesn't
arise when launching kate from the terminal, that is, using the command
"kate ". Also, it doesn't happen when launching kate
from dolphin.

Launching a text document with kate from an icon on the desktop freezes the
