I confirm this bug appearing on recent upgrade of KDE and samba. konqueror: ERROR: : couldn't create slave : Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_smb'. Interestingly it only happens running konqueror in the KDE environment. No problem browsing windoze shares
