Bug#266760: Plan for fixing RC bug?

What are the plans (if any) for fixing RC bug #266760? No reply will be interpreted as an answer that there is no plan. One way of solving the problem would be to make alsa-modules-* (for 2.4) conflict with arts. -- Thomas Hood
