Upgrading kmines from 4:16.08.3-1 left the obsolete conffile
/etc/xdg/kmines.knsrc on my system. Please refer to
dpkg-maintscript-helper(1) and dh_installdeb(1) how to properly clean up
obsolete conffiles.

This was done in commit de5d64ed16d2667310a2a64f2cb4725ae1
Somewhat by accident, I just discovered the dangling symlink
/usr/bin/trash4 -> trash and wondered what it could have possibly been
good for. Here's a short analysis:
Looking at commit aae2e0a2bcd3d090b in the git repository, it seems that
debian/kdebase-runtime.links has a typo and was actually

While I haven't upgraded to KDE 4 yet, the output of
"aptitude -s full-upgrade" and "apt-get -s dist-upgrade" tells that the
existing kde-i18n-de package will _not_ be automatically replaced by
kde-l10n-de. This means that users will be stuck with outdated

Package: knetworkconf

When configuring the network settings in kcontrol, a dialog pops up
telling me that my system is currently unsupported and that I may choose
one the supported platforms. These include "Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 Lenny"
and "Debian GNU/Linux Test

Hi KDE Team,
it seems bug #500711 still needs to be fixed for Lenny. The submitter
reported it against the wrong version (4:3.5.5-5 instead of 4:3.5.9-4),
which is understandable since reportbug puts in the wrong version if the
one the bug _actually_ applies to is so buggy that upgrading to it is

Hi,
it seems that the bug can be closed now; kwin 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-6 depends
on kdelibs4c2a (>= 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-5).
Cheers,
Sven

Hi,
it seems to me that the "Recommends: perl-suid" is inappropriate.
AFAICS, it's only needed by fileshareset and the functionality that
this script provides is rather special.
Looking at popcon, perl-suid has only 8064 installatio

Hi,
currently kdebase Build-Conflicts with nvidia-glx. I presume
(debian/changelog contains no hints) this is due to the dangling
libGL.so symlink that nvidia-glx left on the system, see #208198.
Recent versions of nvidia-glx have fixed thi
