Bug#501125: problem caused by uim-qt

I just upgraded to libqt4-core 4.4.3-1 and have no such problem. Looking at your strace, it looks like it's something related to your /home/vincent/.XCompose or a lack there of. But I don't have one, so something about your config is bringing this out. At any rate, it works for me, so this probably
