For the follow-up,
The bug shows itself even more often in the latest version. Right after
the restart of plasma-desktop process it behaves fine, but after several
hours of work it starts to eat 50-100% of CPU every 1-2 seconds

The following workaround 'fixes' the issue until the package is really
fixed:
#> sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libQtWebKit.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu
Hopefully it helps to fix the issue.

I used unetbootin under KDE and I never saw session management errors.
Internet search occurences of this error seem to suggest that the reason
