Strange, I expected this to fail on my system, but it works perfectly here (squeeze->wheezy->jessie->buster), with kdesudo config purged. It also worked without kdesudo purged. I'm using the standard Xorg session rather than Wayland, on an up-to-date buster system as of Fri, 29 Mar 2019 21:27:51 -

I have tried to run partitionmanager on both testing and unstable systems. The permissions issue can be fixed with a policy file in /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/ and subsequently open it with pkexec partitionmanager But partitionmanager has other problems. After attempting to start with pkexec
