after installing the package, I'm left with this situation:
$ file /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt53D* | grep broken
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt53DExtras.so:broken symbolic link to
libQt53DExtras.so.5.7.1
/usr/lib/
Package: qtbase-opensource-src
Version: 5.7.1+dfsg-3
nodoc profile is more clear than Build-Depends-Indep if you want to
boostrap.
It would be nice to use it for other Qt packages too.

This bug may be closed now as gtk2 style is packaged in qt5-style-plugins.
With this package installed and the following vars in the environment Qt now
correctly renders GTK themes.
