Just for the record there is a patch in the packaging repo that should fix
this.
I hope to be able to build it tonight but I'm not sure I'll get to it.

Hi,
address completion from the address book in kmail when composing an e-mail is
broken for me (again). I only get "Contacts found in your data" which is
rather noisy.
