this behaviour still exists in wheezy. Despite setting the
"ExportList=LD_LIBRARY_PATH" option under /etc/kde4/kdm/kdmrc, the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable is not passed along (which might cause
problems to a window manager that needs it, for example
enlightenment). According to
https://bugs.launchpad.n
I am using akregator stand alone.
As I said in my previous comment the problem appears within a XFCE session.
Other shortcuts work, but I am afraid that it is because the mapping in the
keyboard is the same for "us" and "es" layouts.

After a bit more of testing it seems that the problem is a bit more complex
than expected...
In order to reproduce the error the following conditions must be met:
1) Run it under XFCE (I am using the official Debian wheezy version 4.8.3-2)
2) Configure more than one keyboard layout under X
Sorry for the malformed body of the bug. Here is the description of the bug:
When using the spanish locale, the shortcuts listed under the menu 'Go' ('Ir'
in Spanish) don't work. It looks like the keypress is completely ignored.
No message is shown in the console.

Hi,
It seems that during the debugging of the ia64 ftbfs, the parallel build on
other architectures got lost.
In 4.8.2+dfsg-5, the change below was added (and not reverted later on). This
should not have happened (the parallel build was

Once again, I think we have here a bug severity that is overflated.
Let's re-read the definition of "grave":
makes the package in question unusable or mostly so, or causes
data loss, or introduces a security hole allowing access to the

As there is a workaround for this bug (see bug log) and also because
the bug maybe didn't deserve an RC severity from the beginning, I'm
hereby downgrading this severity.
