Hi,
Does anyone still is affected by this problem ? I think it's solved with KDE
4.8, which is in testing/sid now. I will close the bug in a month if no answer.

Ok, I'm able to confirm and reproduce this bug here now. I created my
own debug output and gstreamer is in fact throwing a critical error
silently in the backg
I just tried to remove gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly (and had to install
gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 to make phonon able to play mp3 files again) :
no change, Amarok just stops on the same songs (the bug is not so random
as I first thought, see below).
I'll send you a full report of Amarok's debug
