I did a fresh Squeeze install. I choose minimal via tasksel. After first boot into my newly installed system i did an "apt-get install kdebase kdm". That did not pull alsa or pulse or any other sound system along with it. Therefore i had to manually install alsa. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email
