Package: cantor
Version: 4:4.4.5-2
Severity: important
Cantor by default uses LaTeX to render formula, without LaTeX being installed
it just shows the raw TeX code which is unreadable. (There's also a plain text
mode, but it's not default and not that easy to find.)

I did a fresh Squeeze install. I choose minimal via tasksel. After first boot
into my newly installed system i did an "apt-get install kdebase kdm". That did
not pull alsa or pulse or any other sound system along with it. Therefore i had
to manually install alsa.
