Today I needed to reload the kernel module thermal and was surprised to
find that after the reload the directory /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/ empty
was. Some extra testing showed the same happened for the modules fan
and batter
Untested under KDE4.
This problem was only replicated under KDE3.

I found in the bugzilla of KDE the same problem at bug 198768[1].

Further exploration reveals that KPDF *does* update the the view of
the file. I have not been able to reproduce this bug again so it must
have been an error on my part, sorry. Please remove this bug.
