I am the DD for the poster package, but I don't use it.
If a DD already involved in packaging KDE would like to take over the
poster package (which isn't coded in QT but is related to KDE printing),
I would be happy to hand it over.

we are using Debian Etch in our institute and I stumbled over the bug
described in

In short: The version of the "poster" package shipped with Debian
(version 19990428) breaks the kdeprint "poster printing" dialog in
